Most people associate the word “shadow” with darkness, but I wanted to show that shadows can be positive and inspiring. “Shadow play” means looking at yourself as you are, rather than searching for what you lack from the outside. Focusing on myself and accepting my own shadow.
The shadows in my work are colorful and diverse. On the other hand, the main character, dressed in a dark suit, looks like a heavy, dark shadow. This story begins with a man who is being chased by someone.

대부분 ‘그림자’라는 단어에서 어두움을 떠올리지만, 그림자가 긍정적이고 영감을 줄 수 있는 존재임을 말하고 싶었다. ‘그림자 놀이’는 자신에게 부족한 것을 외부에서 찾으려 하기보다, 있는 그대로의 자신을 바라보는 것을 의미한다. 스스로에게 집중하고, 나만의 그림자를 인정하는 것.
그림 속 그림자들은 다채롭고 다양한 색을 가지고 있다. 반면, 어두운 정장을 입은 주인공은 어둡고 무거운 그림자처럼 보인다. 이 이야기는 누군가에게 쫓기는 한 남자의 이야기로 시작된다.
그는 용기를 내어 그 존재를 마주하러 나가고, 결국 자신을 쫓던 존재가 바로 자신의 그림자였다는 사실을 알게 된다.
