Wild City, Rush Hour

Poster

2022

Pencil on paper and digital drawing Gicleé Print Through the experience of the pandemic, I realized how insignificant humans can be.
During the lockdown in Berlin, everything stopped—cars, people, even the usual city noise disappeared. The only sound was the loud chirping of birds, filling the empty streets. It felt both strange and unsettling. Humans are often seen as conquerors of the earth, but we are just one species among many. The presence of wild animals—and their incredible strength—reminded me of the true power of nature.
In this work, I illustrate daily life where people and animals naturally coexist. [ Awards ] Longlisted for the 2022 World Illustration Awards
